Independent reading level: Grades PK-7 I really liked this book for many reasons. I liked the way the author incorporated higher level vocabulary words such as sparrows egg or odd because the author used these words in child friendly ways in which the readers could understand. I also liked the way the pictures in the book were displayed. Some of the pictures were the whole page and some of the pictures were half but there was a picture on each page. The pictures were engaging and they went along with the text on the page. I also enjoyed the illustrations because they really helped me imagine what was going on every page. I also enjoyed how this book sort of forced the reader to think about tough issues that happens to children every single day. The main idea of this book would be that we cannot always judge a book by its cover and that even though a person may seem odd or weird we should always find a way to look past it because they could be friendly cool or nice without us even knowing. It pushes the reader to remember not to judge a person too quickly. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
