EPIC BATTLES AND A TALENT SHOW STEP RIGHT UP FOR THE NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE BE A HUMAN ONE LAST TIME! End of Days picks up where World After finishes, and among the chaos and dire circumstances Penryn finds herself in more than just an angel apocalypse when she takes a hold of a Hellion. Penryn is a strong fighter who doesn't need to be protected like some meak damsel in distress and in the last two books she shows this in thrilling and outright hilarious ways, wielding 'Pooky Bear'and feared by her enemies. (laughed at by many, including myself. Pahaha!) The last in the trilogy (apparently this was supposed to be 5 books?) End of Days is not a disappointment and keeps up its pace to that of World After. Throw in a few fallen warriors and even some humour and the book contains the rest of what was needed in the other two. End of Days draws a conclusion to the possible romance between Penryn and Raffe and it does so without interrupting the fantastic story that is being shown. It takes us -hooked readers- into why 'Big B' is such the evil beast of the today and makes us -weak willed children of men- feel kinda bad for him in the process, almost hoping he will save the day with Raffe. Neatly finished with a cherry on top (or in my case a Batternburg specifically bought to enjoy while reading, left forgotten in the cupboard.) This series is well worth the read IF you can make it through the first one. EPIC BATTLES AND A TALENT SHOW STEP RIGHT UP FOR THE NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE BE A HUMAN ONE LAST TIME! This series is well worth the read IF you can make it through the first one. I must admit it took me longer while to finish this book and complete the whole series. Not because “End of Days” lacks something - I just did not feel like I wanted to be back in this apocalyptic world again. This short break (well - not short at all :)) was good for me. Recently I grabbed the last book of Penryn’s and Raffe’s adventures and filled my days with the story. Susan did not disappoint - it is a heck of an ending to this amazing story. The book is again full plot twists and action. It is a bit slower than two previous ones but it is only because we have a romance part in here (which is not something I really like) but it is nothing which can destroy a pleasure of reading :) This book has everything - a romance (mentioned ;)), a breathtaking backstories which explain a lot about the World After, amazing characters - brave and funny and huge battle to save humanity. Great ending to a great story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
