Author Sara Howard, herself one of the very rare women engineers on Apollo, takes the reader down from the Moon to the peons in the pits. She worked in Louisiana on the first stage of the Saturn V at the Michoud facility. Sara has an Honors Degree in Mathematics and Astronomy from Louisiana State University. Her first book is in the Smithsonian Library among others. This is her story before and after Apollo.
