What a fantastic book!!! It's an exciting crime drama with an evil antagonist who horrified me. Relentless has thrills, action, drama, suspense and horror. I couldn't put it down! It's not for the light hearted though, some of the events were very hard for me to read. Ethan and Savannah go through hell in Relentless. This book would make a great movie!

The author gave me Relentless in return for an honest review. Thanks Simon! ( )

The average worker can describe their job in one word and that is ‘mundane’. It is a place of continuous repetition that sometimes brings boredom and often seems like it will never end. Most workers will tell you that their current job is not the one they planned on landing. Whether they be college graduates or high school graduates, there current job is not their dream job. To them every work day is the repeat of the previous and excitement is far and few to find. In order to break this cycle workers need to take a leap of faith. A leap that requires them to leave their repetitious life and explore the world of the economic unknown. This story is about one such explorer named Ethan Justice. He is a man who makes his living fighting evil and bringing dirt bags to justice. However, Ethan Justice was not always a man of action. In the past he was known as John Smith, your average college graduate, with a one way ticket to loser Ville. By a trick of fate and an ounce of dumb luck he was given an opportunity to reshape and restart his life. This book is about Ethan Justice’s first real case as a private detective. He is hired by a stricken mother to locate a missing daughter, but uncovers a monster in sheep’s clothing. Young girls are missing daily and people are being beaten in the streets by thugs. Will Ethan save other girls that are missing? Can he stop the madman before he is killed? Will someone close to him be tortured in his place?

The first thing I must say is wow! This book was a wonderful continuation of the previous book. There was no break in between the first and second book, so I really felt that I understood what was going on. I had no confusion and did not have to refer back to the previous book for help. I liked how the main character grew in the story and showed some maturity and back bone. I found the villain in the story to be a sick bastard that I personally wanted to stomp on, but was happy with the outcome of the story. In essence I think Ethan did justice on this! I must say at times it got a little gory, but it was tied into the plot. Thus, I believe the gory scenes were needed in order to demonstrate how sick and freakish the villain was. I highly recommend this book and its previous companion. It would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays for those of you that have active readers in the family. Finally, I must thank the author for giving me a free copy of his book. It was much appreciated and I truly enjoyed it! ( )

Jenner certainly serves it up well in his second Ethan Justice Thriller "Relentless". It's 2:30am in Trinidad and Tobago and I'm writing this review because I just finished this book. Only exceptionally good books keep me awake at this hour. In Relentless Ethan is all grown up and bad ass.

Duped by the stoic Earth Guard agent "Herb" to open a Private Investigating firm and maintain contacts with Earth Earth Guard, a deception which pitches them into the path of a psychotic mad man Richard Windal, Ethan and Savannah barely survive this novel with their lives intact.

Action packed, nail biting and gruesomely entertaining, one can only be grateful that Simon Jenner is just a geeky expert writer with a fascinating imagination....some of the things he writes...thank heavens it's only in his head! Or is it? :-) Either way I have a lot of respect for the woman who had the courage to marry him. :-) ( )
