You just have to listen to hear God. ( ) A very quick read about a woman struggling with her husband's new found religion and her lack of religion. The book is played out on her conversations during a business trip flight. This is a sequal book and I didn't read Dinner With a Perfect Stranger but I'm assuming it's the same message. Typical discussion between believers and non believers. Glad it wasn't any longer. This is a worthy sequel to the first book - Dinner with a Perfect Stranger. However, it is still a sequel and suffers from some of the stereotypes that sequels are often inflicted with. Frankly, it's not as good. It's still enough to hold the reader's interest, to be sure, but I found some of the dialogue a little leading and, especially in the latter chapters, a little unrealistic. The first half of the book does a great job being conversational, but as the book draws to a close, Gregory almost just comes out and says what he wants the reader to infer. He has Mattie ask the questions he wants her to ask and the book loses some of it's conversational tone as a result. I'd go so far as to say the last half of the book feels rushed. This is an awesome sequel to "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger". However it is Nick's wife, Mattie who becomes involved in a conversation with Jesus while on a business trip. As with the first book, Gregory does an outstanding job answering questions that are often asked, especially pertaining to relationships. It is a must read along with the first book. Both were very enjoyable, thought provoking, and invaluable! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
