So Joker decides to get suicidal and play a deadly game with Superman, I mean piss off the world’s greatest superhero seems like a good plan. He should have stick to trying to kill Batman instead. Frankly, I just don’t understand why he went after Superman in the first place. I thought Batman was his archenemy. But I’m not that versed when it comes to DC comics and this is if I get my information right based on a video game witch I absolutely have no knowledge about.

Anyway, the only thing I really enjoyed in this depressing comic was the part with Green Arrow and Harley Quinn, it was witty and funny.

But I’m not sure that I will read more of Injustice: Gods Among Us, there are far more interesting comics out there… ( )

A really interesting book - I can't help but compare it to Marvel's Civil War. Some of the events and types of things happening make me wonder why they haven't considered them in main lines (as this is an alternate history book). The answer is that in main line books they do not kill off main characters (I know that they kill main characters all the time, but they ALWAYS come back).

There is quite a bit of moralizing in this book, which can't be avoided unless one desires a bland book. Some of the key attributes about each of the characters are explored.

I am looking forward to reading the succeeding volumes of this story. ( )
