You could totally skip this one and you really wouldn't be missing much from the series. Hanna story is told from Hanna's POV during the time she and Lena were in a fight and not speaking to each other. It shows what she was doing/going through during that time. It wasn't anything super interesting or special and I really didn't care about her story.

Annabel's story is the only one in this book that sort of caught my interest and made me want to read it. We don't really find out anything new but I thought it was still interesting to see what Annabel went through in the crypts and how she escaped. I also really liked seeing more of her past and how she met Lena's dad. Annabel's story is the only one I wished was longer and I wished I could have learned more about her. Her story is the only reason I gave this a 2 stars.

Raven's story really didn't interest me at all. I didn't connect with Raven in the 2nd book (Pandemonium) and I don't connect with her in this book either. I really didn't care about her story and it was probably my least favorite of the three. ( )

Annabell --

There is so much going on here. I wanted so much more, and that was with devouring every single inch of extra we got. I love Lena's mom, and how much more of her we got to see. All the little defined pieces. I wish we'd gotten more, and I wish I knew already where it was going to go in the next book. I'm just. Yes. More. Please. The woman/mother who could not be stopped, who loved her children with every single fierce beat of her heart and had sock-dance parties. Tell me everything ever about her.

Raven --

Guh. Just. Guh.

I didn't not expect to end up loving Raven's head as much as I did. And yet, I do. I did. I found it compelling. Her harshness and edges, the hints at her insides, the secrets and patterns of her and her love. And I just want to flail my hands. Because I did not expect to love it as much, as yet, of course, I did. I need to sit down and finish off Requiem as soon as possible, too. ( )

Raven is definitely the best of the three, and makes Requiem that much more heartbreaking. ( )

Fun to see backstory and little details outside the main story! ( )

I thought these stories were good parts that were missing from the full books. I enjoyed reading Hana's story the most but all were great. ( )
