Set in modern day Las Vegas, Lisa Renee Jones’s story Wicked Werewolf Secret is a romantic fantasy that fans of paranormal fiction will most likely enjoy. Jones’s second book in her Werewolf Society series is immersed in a counter culture of society where supernatural beings are in a constant struggle for domination. The fight for humanity is over shadowed by the romance Jones constructs between the aged werewolf Kole Smith and the young wolf Sarah Duncan. Wisdom rivaling impetuosity is the main theme in Jones’s story as Kole acts as Sarah’s mentor, though her rising anger towards the rebels who killed her family cloud her sight from seeing Kole in this capacity and motivate her to act impetuously.
