Jonah asks his older brother's friend Laurie if he'll teach him about sex so he can be experienced when he gets a new boyfriend. And then awkwardness ensues.

Honestly, this one was extremely awkward for me. And I felt like Laurie's character was very inconsistent throughout the book with him easily going back on principled statements. And it all just seemed a bit contrived to me and entirely unbelievable. So I had a really hard time enjoying this one. ( )

Short, very cute story about Jonah, who has had a crush on his elder brother's best friend for years, and Laurie, who sort of felt attracted to Jonah for the last few years but never wanted to admit it. Jonah being his friend's "baby brother", and all. When Jonah finally has the courage to ask Laurie to "take his virginity", it puts both young men on a road of discovery about the two of them, their feelings for each other, and what a relationship is really all about.

While there is a bit of angst, and a few small misunderstandings, on the whole this is a very sweet story about first love for Jonah and the discovery of what love actually means for Laurie. If you like reading about young men at the beginning of a relationship, and if you're looking for a short read that is full of love and passion, you will probably like this free read. ( )
