It is a collection of one shots which is probably why I never thought I was missing a part of the series. Some of these are great for a taste of Hellboy without having to get all the backstory. What I like most of all is everyone is fine when they see him. No one freaks out and he must explain himself over and over. The last story in the collection was a great giggle. These were fun, but I can never decide whether I like the single stories or the larger arc(s) better. The short solo Hellboy stories somehow seem to just pack more punch than the larger arcs. Usually I prefer longer stories, but there's just something about Hellboy that works well in the shorter format. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Hellboy in Mexico:
All righty then! It's a pretty cool story, fun to see a new theme. A bit confusing where there's an entire collection named the same: [b:Hellboy in Mexico|26025654|Hellboy in Mexico|Mike Mignola|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1447730641l/26025654._SY75_.jpg|45949137]
The House:
That's a cool story. Hellboy is not one to try to sacrifice...
The House of Sobek:
A house theme? Sure! And good advice!
Vampire Story:
Not quite what I expected but nicely creepy.
Bride of Hell: Feels like we've done this one before?
The Whittier Legacy:
I love it.
Buster Oakley Gets His Wish:
This story is just truly bizarre, but in a good way.
I'm surprised to say this is probably my favorite of the Hellboy shorts yet. It's just so surreal compared to a lot of them--and that's saying something. ( )
