A very interesting historical perspective of the broken, treaties, lies, and attempted genocide of the plains Indians. Told largely from the perspective of the native americans it starts withe the slaughter of the navahos at Fort Defiance in 1861 and ends at Wounded Knee. This should be read by anyone who believes the government is benevolent and wants to take care of you. A good read. ( )
