( ) Summary: The critters are playing ball one day when it goes into s spooky lawn and they think maybe a monster lives there. They bravely go and get it, and find that it's just an old bunny who isn't able to take care of her lawn and house on her own. So, the critters decide to gather a group and help her out. They make "Critter's Who Care" shirts, and go work hard on her house and lawn to make it look nice. She is very appreciative, and then they decide their next project could be to get toys for kids who don't have any. Genre: This is an example of fantasy because the critters are animals who in everything but appearance seem to be humans. Thus, it is not realistic, however the plot is something that could happen, so it is not a book that seems totally impossible. Theme: The theme was centered around helping others in need, but it was not explicitly stated as occurs in some books, which is nice because it seem more natural and readers discover the moral based on the words and actions of the characters.
