This is a good example of a picture book/fiction because it is about counting, animals and gardens that we see in every day life. The illustrations are detailed and you have to look throughout the pictures to find what items the book is counting throughout. It gets children interacted and excited to participate.

I would use this book with younger children to help them recognize their numbers and learn how to count them.
