Short book, nothing new, Machiavellianism. ( ) "this guide reveals the strageties and tatics that separate the winners from the losers." He also claims to show the "true paths to power and success" through research grounded in the "realpolitik of human interaction". The language of this book is odd. It puts a lot of emphasis on "power" and how to attain it. Also based on what I think "realpolitik" is, using it as a way to attain power seems shady. Author heard on "Forum," Oct. 3, 2015. Sounds insightful and concerned regarding psycho/social development. Amazon: “Pfeffer [blends] academic rigor and practical genius into wonderfully readable text. The leading thinker on the topic of power, Pfeffer here distills his wisdom into an indispensable guide.” —Jim Collins, author of New York Times bestselling author Good to Great. One of the greatest minds in management theory and author or co-author of thirteen books, including the seminal business school text Managing With Power, Pfeffer shows readers how to succeed and wield power in the real world." sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
