Although there were definitely good stories within the story they could have fit on one desk. I found it's very repetitive and self congratulating, almost as if the owner could narcissistically present himself through his dog. ( ) Autobiography written through the owner of a rehabilitated victim Pitbull. Although there were definitely good stories within the story they could have fit on one desk. I found it's very repetitive and self congratulating, almost as if the owner could narcissistically present himself through his dog. I loved this book. I was afriad it was going to be one like Marley and Me and make me cry but it didn't. It is a real feel good book for anyone. It is about an animals love and also about devotion and love from people. This dog, undermostcercimstances, wouldnever have been adopted or loved but ended up being treasured more than so many. Oogy is one lucky dog. This was one of the books I picked up when library book sales resumed. I was intrigued by the dog on the cover. However, this is not a feel-good dog story--well, it is in a way, but a very different way than most stories written about dogs. I would say it is not for the faint of heart or for those who can't read about animal suffering. Oogy is a Dogo (a Dogo is a dog breed I'd not heard of prior to reading this) who was used as a bait dog but miraculously survived. A kind-hearted vet tech at the facility where he was taken influences the doctor to heal him and then the author's family stepped in to adopt Oogy. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
