It’s been nearly six months since Diego Sanchez was turned into a werewolf against his will, joined a small-town werewolf pack, and almost started a war by befriending Val, a member of the nearby vampire colony. Her human boyfriend, Leland, is trying his best to help, but his past is coming back to haunt him in a big way, and it’s driving a wedge between them.
