Advertisement text (22 and 29 July): "ALL Persons who have any Demands on the Estate of the late Oxenbridge Thacher, Esq; are desired to bring in their Accounts to Elizabeth Thacher, Administratrix of said Estate, and any Persons who have Books that belonged to Mr. Thacher are desired to return them immediately, as his Library will be sold at public Vendue on Thursday the 15th day of August next."

Advertisement text (Gazette, 12 August): "To be Sold by PUBLIC VENDUE, On Thursday the 15th Instant, at the Probate-Office in Boston, THE LIBRARY belonging to the late Oxenbridge Thacher, Esq; deceased. The Sale to begin at 10 o'Clock in the Forenoon.
N.B. Those who have any Books in their Hands belonging to the said Deceased, are desired to leave them at the said Probate Office before the Sale.
Boston, Aug. 12, 1765."
