Advertisement (same for 19 and 26 May 1718): "A Valuable Collection of Books, of Divinity, History, Law, Poetry, &c. belonging to the Estate of Grove Hirst, Esq; late of Boston Merchant, are to be Sold by Auction, at the House of Mr. Elisha Odlin, near the Town House in Boston, upon Wednesday the 28th of May 1718 beginning at three a Clock Afternoon. The Books will be shewn by Mr. Samuel Gerrish Bookseller, over the Old Meeting-House in Cornhill, from Thursday the 23d of May until the Day of Sale, where Catalogues may be had Gratis."

Printed catalogue is Evans 1958, but no copy is known.
