Karen Kingsbury was born in Fairfax, Virginia on June 8, 1963. She received a B.A. in journalism from California State University, Northridge in 1986. After graduation, she became a full-time reporter for the Los Angeles Times. Her first book, Missy's Murder, was published in 1992. She wrote three mostrar más more true crime novels and four collections of answered prayers and miracle stories before transitioning to inspirational fiction in 1998. Her first inspirational fiction novel was Where Yesterday Lives. Popular series she has penned include the Redemption, Firstborn, Sunrise, and Angels Walking series, and she has also written the nonfiction Miracle Books collection, gift books, and children's books. She has won several Retailer's Choice Awards, plus 2005 and 2007 Gold Medallions for Oceans Apart and Ever After, respectively. Her other books include Longing, Coming Home - The Baxter Family: A Story of Undying Hope, Fiteen Minutes, The Family of Jesus, The Friends of Jesus, In This Moment, and To The Moon and Back. Another great Firstborn book detailing how the John Baxter and Dayne finally connect. Dayne is searching for inner peace. Thought he was going to find it with Kabbalah but Katy tells him to search further.
This is also the continuation of the Dayne and Katy story.
Since it is the Midwest, a huge tornado is involved.
I do not want to give any more away, but I will say it is refreshing to read a series free from foul language and vulgarity.

I can not get enough of this series. Powerful, well written, truly a great lesson for everyone.
When two young members of the CKT are killed by a drunk driver, Katy has to dig deep within herself to help the rest of the cast to understand and eventually forgive the driver. Besides dealing with the deaths, Dayne has come to town to film his newest movie: the one Katy turned down as his leading lady. Sparks fly again when the two meet up. But Katy feels that the two live in two different worlds and Dayne does not want Katy to have to deal with the press.
In another story line Ashley reads a letter from her mother addressed to Firstborn. She thought it was for her older sister but soon learns the truth and there there is an older brother. Dayne has yet to reveal himself to him because he doesn't want the press to come down on them.… (más)

Enjoyed this book . I enjoyed the messages from the bible. I love to hear Gods words. Loved the ending.

Ashley who is the persistent Baxter finally figures out the Dayne/Baxter connection.
Another book of patience, love and forgiveness is shown throughout this book.
