Fantastic series of essays regarding the place of religion in society. Essays range from analyses of the strength of religion, discussion of the roles of church and state in the 1st Amendment, the differing religious positions in America, and whether religious education should receive government funding. 50 years later the essays and their material are just as relevant as ever. Well worth the read.
