Fun to look through, amazing how many modules and other items they were selling into shops that year. Has a tear out poster in the back.

This monstrous compendiums is a motley collection of beasts that for the most part seem to be pretty generic D&D. A few of them have been seen elsewhere--the saurial (which did not originate here), the deep dragon and the loxo, for example. Most of them have died suitable deaths. Some of them, like the haun, haundar, sha'az collection, seem like they could have worked much better in an adventure or a supplement, where they would have been supported by their surroundings instead of just part of a collection of weird creatures.… (más)

The sheer undertaking of this task — collating all the magic items published over 20 years of D&D and organizing them alphabetically — is simply mind-boggling. You probably won't get that much use out of it in your game, and even if you do you'll never begin to scratch the surface of the material within. But as a reference work, it simply astounds.
