I guess this is not meant to help much with identifications, but merely an appreciation for old tableware.

It tries to cover too much ground and manages to whet the desire without offering much in the way of information. Oh, there is the odd historical fact scattered here and there; but it’s mostly unsatisfactory, even the voluptuous photos are frustratingly vague. The text frequently mentions old variants or oddities, but the illustrations don’t deliver, and curiosity is not satisfied.

But how can one despise a book whose last chapter deals with tea, coffee and chocolate pots?… (más)
