My edition is from 1968, and is a serious, comprehensive language text which then uses 30-some songs, most of them made famous by Nat King Cole, to enrich vocabulary and practice grammatical constructions (Autumn Leaves, Love is a Many Splendored Thing, Tenderly, Too Young, Mona Lisa, Fascination, Around the World, At Last!, Nature Boy, Sentimental Reasons, Three Coins in the Fountain, Tea for Two, Begin the Beguine, Blue Moon, White Christmas, Bewitched, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Stardust, Secret Love, It Had to be You, Pretend, Our Love is Here to Stay, There Will Never Be Another You, Let's Fall in Love, An Affair to Remember, Because You're Mine, Moonglow, Walking in the Rain, Close Your Eyes, Young at Heart, Dreams Can Tell a Lie, Strangers in the Night.) There have been plenty of subsequent versions, and it appears the song selection has been updated (the publisher notes, "more than 40 songs" for its 2000 edition), but the title is currently out of print.
