Missouri Botanical Garden

This website shows children what different ecosystems there are in the world, and the plants and animals that grow in them. The pages are bright orange and pink, and have links with pictures on them so that they are very easy to navigate. The text on the pages are large and easy to read, and use an understandable vocabulary that clearly defines the different names and terms. There is information on tropical reefs, rainforests, and deserts, and it even has different sections for shorelines, temperate oceans, and tropical oceans. The site would be extremely helpful for completing a school assignment, or could be tied in to reading on the subject. The pictures are a little on the small side, but they are very brightly colored and clearly illustrate the different topics, and can be clicked on to increase their size.
