Excellent volume for the money. Good balance of text and illustrations.

If you've purchased any books in this series you already know the score; good graphics, slightly stilted English and you might find yourself wishing for a little more operational analysis. Most interesting to me is that the French navy seemed to regard its larger flying boats as being more akin to ships than aircraft, and depended on impressing commercial aircraft to fill out its order of battle in regards to long-range patrol aircraft.

Not being familiar with the "Polish Wings" series published by Mushroom Models/Stratus, I'd compare this to Mushroom Model's "Orange" series, only not constrained by the smaller printing format. I have only two caveats with this new series, one is that I now have something else to blow my money on. The other is why, why, why couldn't at least a simple bibliography have been included?
