Rob Shepherd covers a good deal of basic bookbinding techniques with plenty of photos to help the bookbinder or repairer along. A good section on tools. There are more detailed books for the absolute beginner, but this is a worthy addition to a bibliophile's and bookbinder's library, both for the photos and the terse clear instructions, and the author's obvious depth of knowledge.
