Picture book that follows a poetry and riddle format. The books takes you through each statement as you try and figure out what the author is conveying. The book shows you different cultures, people, and places, until it ultimately reveals that the poems were all about language.

I thought this book was very well done and profound! The illustrations were amazing and thought-provoking. I would love to have this book in my classroom! This book would be best suited for 1-3 graders.

A picture book based on a riddle about language, illustrating how language is invaluable to us. Wonderful diversity and fun illustrations. I would use to start talking about language, maybe if I had multilingual learners or was reading a book about a bilingual person. Simple enough for Kinder but would use it for the fun riddle through 5th grade. ( )
