It was interesting to read that research has found that good relationships are the most significant factor in people's happiness. The book reiterated this point many times. It included vignettes of people who were happy in spite of their struggles because they valued their relationships. The W.I.S.E.R. tool was something suggested as a way to gracefully engage with a person who says something that may push one of our buttons. The review questions at the end helped to anchor what was covered in the summary. It was nice not to have to delve into the technicalities of the research study. I trusted the content and would recommend this book to others.Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. This summary book takes on the study done at Harvard University on what makes people happy in their lives. It was an exhaustive study that delved into what it is that really brings happiness in to people's lives. And in summary that something is your relationships. Not all that surprising when you really think about it from a emotional standpoint of even one of pure logic. And this book does a thorough job of examining every aspect of this topic and drilling down into the whys and wherefore behind what people feel. It also goes into subtopics of how to enhance such things in our lives. A good read, informative and detailed bringing this important part of our lives into focus. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
