I had to keep reminding myself that Gatsby had wavy hair, Tom had a buzzcut, etc. Still, the Jazz Age feel was definitely there, which impressed me for a graphic novel! I'm not a fan of the original novel, but I thought I'd give this a go since it turned up at the local library. I shouldn't have bothered. Even in graphic novel format this book is filled with one of the most unlikable cast of characters I've come across. What a bunch of losers. Art, color palette, fonts -- none of them were particularly appealing either, though that could just be my mind souring on them due to their relation to this story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Jay Gatsby had once loved beautiful, spoiled Daisy Buchanan, then lost her to a rich boy. Now, mysteriously wealthy, he is ready to risk everything to woo her back. This is the definitive, textually accurate edition of a classic of twentieth-century literature, The Great Gatsby. The story of the fabulously wealthy Jay Gatsby and his love for the beautiful Daisy Buchanan has been acclaimed by generations of readers; however the first edition contained a number of errors resulting from Fitzgerald's extensive revisions and a rushed production schedule.
