So, I'm reading The bad book affair ARC by Ian Sansom, notice his Author page needs info, go to his personal website, notice his has recommended reads, and I see one 273322::Appleby's End described as "booksy crime". Anyone here read it? It looks like a mystery, but how "booksy" is it?

BTW, so far about 1/3 thru Bad Book Affair (gutsy title!), and I think the mystery element is beginning. I think. On the plus side: His writing has improved, but I only read the first book of this series and haven't bothered since.

Edited to add: Touchstone still not working over year later for Appleby's End. Direct link: http://www.librarything.com/work/273322

I'm late to this party Ben, but if you're still wondering, the crimes are taken from the fictitious novels of an ancestor of the family in the book, so it's not what I'd call properly bibliomysterious. That said, it is very funny in an Edmund Crispin vein and I have a real soft spot for it.

Thanks! I may give it a try.
