I had a old PS2 (keyboard) CueCat in my junk box and finally decided to put it to use.
It works fine with Ubuntu Linux.
I thought it would. It seems like the computers recognize barcode scanners as a keyboard so the CueCat should work with an modern computer & OS.
Also, my PS2 version was very easy to "declaw" but I couldn't figure-out how to fix the encryption because my version had a big blob of epoxy over the chip that needed to be modified.
But, of course, LT understands the encrypted output.
