It appears I have 20 Best in Children's Books. In the comment field of each book I have listed the title of each story, with author AND illustrator noted. If anyone gets one of the 20 I already have, he could copy & paste this information to their own listing, as it is fairly labor intensive to write it out, I've found.

As I have time, I bring the books to the Combiners! group, and they combine same "works". I believe there are some ethical problems to asking/requesting LT patrons to change data, i.e. to change the author field to read Nelson Doubleday. It would've been SO thoughtful of BiCB to have listed an editor!

I've gotten notes before asking me to change an author. If the sender explained the sense in it, I didn't mind changing it at all.

I haven't finished cataloging all my books yet, and so far, I apparently have two of the Best in Children's Books. I'm almost certain we had a whole set when I was a kid...

I have to check and see if one of mine is really a 10A or a 10. I didn't pay that close of attention when I entered it!

Hi, I have 8 books cataloged, I think I have more in my son's room, but they may be single title classics with the same cover. I wasn't too careful about the info, I just listed the authors and titles which I wanted to remember in the reviews and then tagged the subjects. I did load the correct cover for each of mine. I think I left the author blank. It really goes against my grain to enter an editor or publisher in the author field of a multi author book, I'm not saying I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't like it. :)

I need you to explain to me why you want this done, who it benefits and why, O.K.?

>10 MrsLee:, 11 I too have left the author field blank for all 20 of my BiCBs. And although LT has said for ages that they would upgrade old listings to be able to indicate various titles within the author field, they have not done so, or I would upgrade in a minute (if I had a valid editor to put in there). Almost all of my BiCBs were entered before LT upgraded that aspect for NEW listings...so I'd have to delete entries, and then add them again to take advantage of any "editor" who might be discovered from Nelson Doubleday.
