poignent set of short stories

i just read this book - earthen angels - by sarbari chowdhury. The stories are absolutely mind blowing. Some of the stories give a perspective of an immegrant's life that anyone living outside their country can relate to.

I highly recommend the book.

I'm going to give a shout out for Etger Keret (Israel) here. I have been impressed with all of his short story collections. Many of his stories are only a few pages in length, but leave a lasting impression.
