Hiya! Just joined this group, I'm a piratey kinda guy too. In fact, I've written 2 graphic novels, the heroes* of which are pirates, 'YARG!' and 'Cupcakes of DOOM'! You can read the first chapter of each at my website, www.DontEatAnyBugs.com
Here's the book's description:
Whoever has the biggest hat wins!
It's showdown time, Our Heroic-ish Pirates versus Those Lousy Vikings to decide the fate of a kingdom! The weapon of choice? BAKED GOODS! Deliciously-Evil Viking Pie has taken over as the peoples' flavorite, leaving the home-made Pirate Cookies in the dust. Captain Scurvybeard, YoHo Joseph, Peglegless Pete, Lester, (and some other pirates with less goofy names) must embark on a quest to find the ultimate pastry: The Long Lost CUPCAKES OF DOOM!
As you'd expect, there are sword fights aplenty, parrots, penguins, sea serpents, a treasure hunt or two, and all sorts of other piratey shenanigans.
The whole thing gets a bit silly, just the way you like it. Giggling is Guaranteed (unless you’re a curmudgeon). YARG!

I apologize, I thought this group was merely talking about pirate books they liked, not a specific pirate book (I am going to find "A Pirate of Exquisite Mind, it looks interesting.) forgive me for not paying much attention, I did not mean to come off sounding like a spamvertiser, merely as inept.
Thanks for understanding!

Ray,
You are very unobservant if you did not notice that this is reading group and that we are reading a particular book.
You obviously did not check and yes we do think that your post in our group was way off base and is classified as spamvertising.
We appreciate that you may have misunderstood and accept your apology, however we would also like you to delete you advert in post 1.
