Why would the same person who killed the girls and Maurice Jennings, also kill Seaton? What is the connection?

I believe his death was the coverup by the authorities of placing him in the cell with a Muslim, who hit him, and nothing to do with the other murders.

His neo-Nazi pals should also be in the frame as we observed before. He may have lots of information about their organisation that they would prefer the police did not know.

It was a way of getting rid of his body the same way the girls and Jennings had died.
