Hello everyone! I'm Owl, I have been enjoying books for a while now, probably since I was 4-5 years old! My great-grandpa and Grandpa were both in the Air Force, now retired. I hope I become great friends with everyone here!

Hmmm...oh yeah! I have that MAD comic i could read

You inspired me to read Laure Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me. I enjoyed it. And then I followed it with Bloom, which I also liked. Do you read any horror? The Yellow Wallpaper was turned into a graphic Barkat, and I'd really like to see how it turned out, but I haven't found anyone who carries it.

OK. So you might like The Yellow Wallpaper. It's atmospheric, gothic style horror, not explicit, no gore or anything.

I consider The Yellow Wallpaper creepy, atmospheric horror, but you could just as easily say it is creepy, atmospheric psychological thriller. But then maybe I was influenced by reading it as part of a horror anthology.

It was heard: to the post-mortem cell
he had been taken;
last night—in the darkness of Falgoon-night
When the five-night-old moon went down—
he was longing for death.

His wife lay beside—the child therewith;
hope and love abundant__in the moonlight—what ghost
did he see? Why his sleep broke?

It was told to him
when the moon sank down—in the strange darkness
by a silence like the neck of a camel that might have shown up

Nevertheless, the owl stays wide awake;
The rotten still frog begs two more moments
in the hope for another dawn in conceivable warmth.
We feel in the deep tracelessness of flocking darkness
The unforgiving enmity of the mosquito-net all around;
The mosquito loves the stream of life
awake in its monastery of darkness.

From sitting in blood and filth, flies fly back into the sun;
How often we watched moths and flies hovering
in the waves of golden sun.
The close-knit sky, as if—as it were, some scattered
lives, possessed their hearts;
The wavering dragonflies in the grasp of wanton kids
Fought for life;
As the moon went down, in the impending gloom

I really am struggling to breathe because of my stress level....my friends wont help me with a week old essay i grouped with them for a project on.....

What is the essay to be about? How long does t he essay need to be?

Oh, I know nothing about the movie project. What can you tell me about it?

Did you have a specific movie that you picked?

We had to make our own movie and i got to do nothing for the posters my friends made because they had basically done it all by the time it was shared with me

I really hate group work. Most of the time someone gets used. So was your movie pro or anti communism. Can you think of a catchy first sentence that will draw people in to the essay?

Its based off the years 1955 through 1959 and ig one poster has communism and the other doesn't i wasn't given very much information

Have you seen the posters? Do they give you any points that you can use in an essay? If these people don’t want to help you and they haven’t given information, then I guess I would do the bare minimum cause this is not how group work should be.

They dont give us points for that and all of its now missing and i have a 33 or so present in my history class and i have way more stuff to do

I need to worry about it- my father will figuratively kill me if he knows i have missing work

I understand. My children don’t like it when my grandchildren have missing work.
