Ambiguity in notices; a.k.a., the Oxford comma or not

The Phantom Tollbooth had a disambiguation notice of "Please distinguish between this LT Work, Norton Juster's original The Phantom Tollbooth (1961), and the edition annotated by Leonard Marcus (2011). Thank you." Classic issue where using or not using the comma doesn't make it much clearer, and it should be rephrased. Hopefully I was correct in assuming this LT work was Norton Juster's original The Phantom Tollbooth, and that it wasn't a three-item list.

You seem to have missed the crucial “which is” in the disambiguation comment after the first comma and “Norton Juster’s original….” so, yes, you are correct and it isn’t a three item list.

>2 abbottthomas: You seem to have missed that that was a change made today.

I seem to have missed that this thread is not about the Vampire Weekend song :(
