Camp Hell's Mouth:

Mom excitedly pointed out the van window “Look, a horse!” My sister, Arya, and I both groaned. We had been driving through fields for five hours, and Mom had pointed out every horse and pig.
“Look out your side, Evanya!” Mom cried from the front passenger seat. “Pigs!”
I stared outside of my window and saw about twenty large pink pigs. “Nice pigs Mom,” I said, kicking Arya’s seat and rolling my eyes
“There’s a duck!” Arya exclaimed.
Now she was doing it!
I kicked the seat in front of me, Arya shrieked. “Mommm, is it possible to die from boredom?” I moaned.
“Blehhhh” Arya shouted. The kid is a joke, isn't she?
“I told you” Dad muttered to Mom. “A fifteen-year-old is too old to go on a long van trip.”
“And so is an eight-year-old!” Arya protested.
“How can you be bored?” Mom asked. “Look pigs!”
Dad sped up to pass a huge silver semi-truck. The roads twisted and turned through high, sloping hills. In the far distance, I could see snow-covered grassy mountains, rising through a thick mist.
“There’s so much amazing scenery to admire” Mom gushed.
“After a while, it looks like an old picture book” I complained.
Arya looked out her window. “Look! No Pigs or Horses!”
She doubled over, cackling. She thought that was the funniest thing anyone had ever heard. Arya really cracks herself up.
Mom turned her head from the front seat. She narrowed her eyes at Arya.
“Are you making fun of me?” she demanded.
“NoOo” Arya replied, sarcastically.
“Of course not” I chimed in. “Who would make fun of you Mom”
“We’re leaving Idaho,” Dad announced. “Wyoming is up ahead. We’ll be in those mountains soon enough.”
“Maybe we will see flying pigs!” I exclaimed sarcastically. Arya cackled, her face turning red.
Mom sighed. “Go ahead. Ruin the first family vacation in seven years.”
We hit a pothole. I heard the trailer bump behind us. Dad had hooked one of those small, rickety trailers to the back of our car. We had dragged it through the East.
The trailer was kind of boring at times. It had two narrow beds and one larger one built into the sides. And it had a table we could eat or play card games at. It even had a very small kitchen.
At night, we’d pull into a trailer camp. Dad would hook them up to water and electricity. And we spent the night inside, in our own private tiny home. We hit another bump. I heard the trailer bump behind us again. The car lurched forward as we started to climb up a hill and into the mountains.
“Mom, how do I know if I’m getting carsick?” Arya asked.
Mom turned back to us, frowning. “Arya you rarely get carsick,” she said in a very low voice. “Did you forget?”
“Oh right,” Arya replied. “I thought it might be something to do.”
“Arya!” Mom screamed. “If you’re so bored, color with crayons!”
“That's boringggg” Anya muttered.
I could see Mom’s face turning a tomato red. Mom doesn't look like Dad, Arya, and me. She is ginger and has blue eyes and fair skin, which turns red or pink easily. And she is kinda plump.
My dad, sister, and I are skinny and very pale. The three of us have blonde hair and green eyes.
“You kids don’t know how lucky you are,” Dad said. “You’re getting to see some pretty spectacular sights.”
“Aslan Howard got to go to football camp,” Anya grumbled. “And James Thurman got to go to sleepaway camp for eight weeks!”
“I wanted to go to sleepaway camp, too!” I protested.
“You’ll go to camp next summer” Mom replied sharply. “This is a chance of a lifetime!”
“But the chances of a lifetime are sooooo boring!” Anya complained.
“Evanya, entertain your sister,” Mom and Dad ordered.
“Excuse me?” I cried, “How am I supposed to entertain her?” “Play Car Geography,” Mom suggested. “Oh nooooo, not again!” Anya wailed.
“Go ahead, I’ll start,” Mom said. “Wyoming”
Wyoming ends with a G. So I had to think of a city that starts with a G. “Greensboro,” I said, “Anya your turn.”
"Hmmmmm. A city that starts with O ..." My sister thought for a moment. Then she twisted up her face. "I quit!"
My sister is such a bad sport. She takes games way too seriously, and she really hates to lose. Sometimes she gets so intense when she's playing hockey or football, I really worry about her.

Don't Go There!

Prologue~
With a look of pure terror etched on his face, James frantically scanned his surroundings, his eyes darting back and forth in search of any sign of hope. Meanwhile, his twin sister Savanna could be heard crying softly beside him, tears streaming down her face as she clung to his arm for comfort. The frigid gusts of wind mercilessly lashed against the siblings, sending shivers down their spines. In a barely audible tone, James let out a remorseful sigh, lamenting his decision to heed the imprudent dare.

Chapter One~

James and Savanna appeared quite nervous, their faces tinted with a very subtle and delicate shade of pink. Savanna had chosen a light blue skirt that gently flowed down to her knees, paired with a cozy pink sweater that hugged her body. Meanwhile, James had opted for a more casual look, wearing a pair of blue jeans and a vibrant red sweater that contrasted nicely with his fair complexion. As the morning sun peered through the window, the peaceful silence in the room was interrupted by a loud shout from their mother, reminding them that it was time for school. Responding promptly, James hollered back down the stairs, assuring his mother that he was on his way. Savanna let out a sleepy yawn as she hoisted her backpack onto her shoulders and trailed after her brother down the stairs. The bright morning sun was already warming up the room, causing her to regret her choice of attire. James, Savanna, and their group of friends found themselves on a particularly grueling day at school. The hours seemed to drag on endlessly as they chatted and passed the time, trying to make the day go by faster. During one of these conversations, Savanna's friend Jane issued a bold challenge to James. She dared him to venture into the abandoned school located on North Street. Despite the potential risks and unknown dangers that lay ahead, James appeared intrigued by the idea. He mustered up his courage and confidently said, "Yes, I accept the dare!". Savanna suddenly feeling nauseated cried out in pain as she ran to the bathroom. Jane laughed “I bet you won't even last an hour in that place!” James mumbled “I bet there are a lot of things that we can get hurt on there but I don't care”

Chapter 2~

A few hours later, James and Savanna, who were both wearing fluffy jackets made it down North Street, walking down towards North Woods Elementary School, while Savanna’s friend Ellis tagged along.

Dark Eyes:

As I strolled through the cemetery, the rustling of leaves and the whistling of wind made me feel like I wasn't alone. It was as if someone or something was keeping an eye on me. As I cast a furtive glance toward the mighty raven’s tree standing tall in the center of the eerie graveyard, a sense of unease crept over me. To my bewilderment, it seemed as if a pair of eyes were intently staring back at me, but I couldn't discern whether it was just my imagination or not. Walking home, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me. Despite my attempts to ignore it, the image of those black eyes in the raven’s oak kept flashing in my mind. When I left the cemetery, I thought I was safe, but those same eyes seemed to follow me. As I walked in my door and hung my coat up, I walked over to my couch to lie down and watch some TV. After a few minutes of flicking through the channels on TV, I turn it off and start walking upstairs to take a nap. I stopped halfway up the stairs and looked into my bedroom, I saw those large black eyes staring back at me again, but the eyes were attached to an ashen and skinny ghost-like body. I covered my mouth trying not to scream, I turned and ran down the stairs and out of the door. I looked back as soon as I thought I was far enough away and the eyes were gone, I thought I could take a small walk to clear my mind. After my walk, the streetlights start flickering out for the night as I step onto my front porch turning the key to let myself in. I walked into the house and placed my keys on a hook near the door. I walk into the living room and start scrolling through the streaming services and channels. After settling down to enjoy my latest episode of "FBI," I found myself distracted by the grumbling of my stomach. Unable to deny my hunger any longer, I decided to take a quick break and head to the kitchen in search of a tasty snack to enjoy while I continued to watch the show. It had only been about an hour since I sat down to watch, but the temptation to satisfy my cravings was too strong to resist. With excitement building, I got up from my seat and made my way to the kitchen, eagerly anticipating the delicious treats that awaited me. As I comfortably sink into the cushions of my couch, the aroma of freshly popped buttery popcorn wafts through the air and fills my nostrils. Just as I become fully immersed in the TV show I am watching, a loud and startling bang echoes throughout the room, emanating from my bedroom. Despite the sudden interruption, I consciously decided to ignore the noise and continue indulging in my entertainment. As I turned around, a sudden loud bang caught my attention. My eyes met with a pair of enormous black orbs staring straight at me. To my surprise, they were accompanied by a petite woman, who too had the same striking black eyes. Their eyes seemed never-ending, giving me an eerie feeling. In a sudden rush of panic, I sprang up from my sitting position and bolted towards the nearest police station, shouting uncontrollably, "There are intruders in my home!" The officers quickly responded, driving me to my residence with me sitting in the backseat of their vehicle. As we arrived, their expressions turned to ones of utter shock, their gazes fixated upon a massive, human-shaped silhouette looming before us. One of the officers muttered under their breath, "This cannot be your dwelling any longer," before they drove away with me still in their custody. As we continued driving, one of the officers offered, "Would you like to take refuge at my abode for a brief period?" Tears had left my eyes red and swollen, my cheeks damp with their tracks. One of the officers kindly handed me a tissue, saying "Here, wipe your eyes with this." I grabbed the tissue, finally answering the officer's questions “Oh, I wouldn't want to trouble you with me living at your home, and thank you for the tissue.”

The Last Ones:

James Pilling couldn't hold a job, so he hunted zombies.
It was the family business. He barely liked his family- and by family, he meant his older sister, Willow- and he didn't like the idea of “Business.” or work. The only part of the deal that sounded like it might be fun was the actual hunting.
He’d never done it before. Sure he had gone through a hundred simulators in gym class and in the Squads, but they never let kids do any of the real hunting. Not before they turn thirteen.
“Why not?” He asked his scoutmaster, a skinny girl named Jennie who used to be a TV host back in the day. James was nine at the time and obsessed with zombie hunting. “How come you don't let us whack some actual zoms?”
“Because hunting’s the sort of thing you should learn from your folks,” said Jennie.
“I don't have any folks” James countered. “My ma and pa died on Virus Night.”
“Ouch. Sorry James- I forgot. Point is you got family of some kind, right?”
“I guess I got ‘I’m Mrs. Freaking Dreamy Willow Pillings’ for a sister, and I don't want to learn anything from her.”
Jennie stared at him. “Wow, I didn't know you were related to him. She’s your sister, huh? Well, there’s your answer kid. Nobody better to teach you the art of hunting than a professional like Willow Pillings.” Jennie paused and licked her lips nervously.

Grouse wondered around the street his fur flat and his tail swaying gently. His black fur shining in the sun as he walked near twolegplace remembering when he used to be a kittypet. His blood ran cold as he was picked up by one. He heard something he remembered from as a kittypet. "Witch! Burn!" He squirmed and yowled loudly as he was thrown into a large nest with strong siber hanging logs. He hissed until he saw two twolegs poor a huge can of something putrid inside and a small orange fleck appear on a tiny twig they had as they through it in. He screamed as the fire burnt his fur. Trying to escape one way or another, the pain was to much to bare, he screamed he looked at his paw, Wich was just skeleton now. He screamed as his face was covered and he breathed in the fire, collapsing as the pain went over him. And he was left to die.

Hallow ran across the crisp snow her fur fluffed in happiness her ears down playfully as she chased a rabbit preparing to leap. Two huge massive paws leaped onto the rabbit, a gruesome snapping sound as the rabbits spine broke. A huge head lowered as the wolf bit into the flesh of the rabbit. A muffled whimper came from hallows mouth. the head turned and the menacing eyes stared at her, a flash of fur leaped at her but she dodged running as fast as she could. she felt a terrible pain in her tail as it was stepped on by the paw, as the wolf was gaining on her. She yowled in terror and hurried into a small cave and watched as the wolf ran past and ran behind the cave. She sat in relief. Just as she went to lick her paw five flashes of fur jumped from the shadows and tore her limb from limb barking and growling for each paw and piece of flesh. Not long before the leader got her head.

She shivered for a second and then began to walk around her paws began to feel numb as she made her way through the fog, then she realized she was walking in snow. She breathed in for a moment then fell to her side, not being able to feel her paws her paws flailed as she felt her chest feel like it was frozen, with every gasp f air the snow pierced her lungs and she sat up onto her stomach now crawling she didn't know if she was near camp l, suddenly she fell in a pit of water, but managed to crawl out, to weak to keep moving she lay there as the snow began piling above her and freeze her lungs. "D..dusk..." She whimpered as her words came out she lost the only air left and she looked down at her frozen back legs. Her head then crashed into the snow. As everything went black.

Dusk ran across a pile of rocks, her pelt thin and cold in the snow. Although it was winter Dusk kept hunting for the tribe like normal, even if she was going to freeze. Dusk mewed "Have to keep going" on an especially cold day, her body already spiked with the cold wind and snow. Although suddenly she fell to the ground, unable to move her legs in the cold, her breath labored due to the cold air coming in and out of her nose and mouth. After a few hours Spider went looking for her, seeing her now frozen with hypothermia, her eyes wide with fear.

Calmkit kept yowling, trying to get out of the ditch although every time she grabbed dirt, it fell back onto her. After a while Calmkit's mother Dawnscratch found Calmkit buried by the dirt, although she was already dead from suffocation.
