This group is getting too "sleepy", so I will try to open a new topic...
Since the last November, I have read the following CP books: Blue Octavo and Beastly Business by John Blackburn; The Last of Philip Banter by John F. Bardin; and Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury.
In a little while I will probably read A Case of Conscience or another one of Blackburn books, I am not sure yet...
What about you?
What do you enjoy reading from Centipede Press publications?

One of the reasons I am devoted to Centipede is because the books that I’ve never read or heard of end up being as good as the stuff I’ve already known and loved. Even if I can’t acquire the actual centipede version of the books, I like going through the back catalog to pick whatever I’m going to read next. Some that I read recently were The Nightwalker and The Delicate Dependency. Both were truly excellent books. I’m looking forward to Live Girls because I’ve never tried Ray Garton before.

I've been working my way through The Castle of the Otter for a while, as well as the Elric and Fahfrd and the Mouser books as they come out. The Elric is mostly rereading but some of the Leiber I don't think I ever read.

The last Centipede publication I read was Logan’s Run, but it was a while ago. It was a good little short story or novella. It’s really hard to not picture the movie while reading it and in some ways the movie’s conciseness made it better.

I just finished reading Blue Octavo and Beastly Business and enjoyed them both. Plan on reading Nift the Lean next.

I'm new to Nifft and picked up the unsigned edition. Stretching out the stories and enjoying them. I have one to go I think. I am currently reading one of the PS Malazan releases though will probably follow up that up with Centipede's A Case of Conscience. I think it may be close to 3 decades since I last read Blish :)

I love Malazan. Eagerly awaiting Sub Press’s Crippled God to complete the set. I’ve begged Jerad a couple of times to consider doing a Centipede version but I doubt that will happen.

Read and loved Nifft the Lean, plus Beasly Business, Blue Octavo, For Fear of Little Men, and been reading some short stories here and there from the Kate Wilhelm volumes. I am dying to read A Case of Conscience, but I'm keeping it in the shrink until after I've moved next month for a little added safety.

Recently finished 'Nifft the Lean' - not normally a big fantasy fan, but the writing and language here was a lot of fun. 'The Fishing of the Demon Sea' was probably went on a bit longer than it needed to - but overall really enjoyable. Torn between 'The Goddess in Glass' and 'The Pearls of the Vampire Queen' as favorites. The very human scale of the stories is refreshing.

'Blue Octavo' pairs well with the recently released Suntup 'Bibliomysteries' edition. Quick little read, and was delighted to see it start with a 'ring' - reminded me of the old UK tv series 'Lovejoy'. The depiction of Moldon Mott made me laugh - been a while since I read a book where the author had that much fun, making fun of one his protagonists. Didn't realize he featured in 'Beastly Business' as well - might have to track that down just for more of Mott.

Currently working through 'Blindsight', at the same time I'm watching 'The Expanse' on Amazon Prime. A bit more of an investment than 'Blue Octavo' in terms of time and attention, but absolutely worth it. Great book for hard sci-fi fans.

I'm new to Centipede, but I plan on reading A Case of Conscience pretty soon. After that, and it might be a couple of months till I get to them, I'm going to give the John Franklin Bardin books a shot. I tend to like noirish stuff, so hopefully, I'll find them worthwhile.

Masters of the Weird Tale - Ramsey Campbell

I'm not reading it from start to finish all at once, just a few stories here, and then later a few stories there... I view it something that should be sipped and enjoyed rather than gobbled down in one bite!

I'm partway through A Case of Conscience now and just finished Book1 which I think I was the original novella. Will continue with Book 2 tonight. Enjoying reading it again and the Centipede edition has a nice feel to it and I like the paper stock.

I have started Dune Messiah in the beautiful CP edition. It is a pleasure to read (and my first time reading the work). I read Dune for the first time in CP edition, too.

It’s been a while but the last CP book I read was Logan’s Run. Fun read, especially if you’re a fan of the movie.

I most recently finished reading Childgrave by Ken Greenhall. A very strange book and one I’ve yet to make up my mind as to how exactly I feel about it.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Alligator and enjoying it. Shlocky adventure fiction.
