What do you like about this series? Any frustrations with the series?

I like most of the characters and the historical information. I wish she would give Neil a little more space in the books.

I like the historical backstory and that when the book is done, it relates to the modern day story.

I love the historical connection and the story from the past. Also great group of characters.

>5 Andrew-theQM: There is only one character that I don't like and have never liked... Steve Carstairs. He's just plain slimy! I'm starting not to care much for Rachel and her infatuation with Wesley. Hefferman just annoys me sometimes with his attitude. He needs to run the department and help with the stuff that needs his attention and give Wesley some leeway to run the investigation. These cases are not Wesley's "first rodeo".

A good mix of characters, and I like the historical twist.
