Looking for Virgil's Aeneid

Hi all,

For some time now I've been looking for a nice fine press edition of Virgil's Aeneid in Latin. There are plenty of options for Ovid, Horace, Catullus and pretty much all other famous roman writers. But when it comes to Virgil and the Aeneid, I find pretty much nothing.
Now I'm reaching out to the collective expertise of this forum, and ask if anyone can point me in the right direction.

To my knowledge, a fine or private press edition of the Aeneid in Latin does not exist.

Not in Latin, but there is the LEC edition and the Folio Society LE in English, in case you were not aware.

I went ahead and ordered his collected works, printed by the Riccardi Press and bound in limp vellum. Not illustrated and not specifically the Aeneid, but good paper and letter press, and fairly cheap as well.

I refer to and think of the limp vellum editions from Philip Lee Warner/the Medici Society/Riccardi Press as "poor man's Kelmscotts", and I mean this is the most positive way. These are truly splendid editions with beautiful letterpress printing from the Riccardi Press in a typeface/font (the Riccardi font) that is the equal of the legendary Doves Press type. The limp vellum bindings are near-identical to the Kelmscott Press editions. As a bonus, many of these books feature beautiful watercolor illustrations from Sir W. Russell Flint. The 3-volume set of 'The Canterbury Tales' and the 4-volume set of Le Morte DArthur in the vellum bindings are treasures, at a fraction of the press Kelmscott Press books command.

On my want list is also "The Heroes" by Charles Kingsley. Wonderfully illustrated by Sir W. Russell Flint.
And on a side note; I've come to realize that my favourite type of binding is limp vellum. It looks great and it's a joy to hold and handle.

The facsimile is not letterpress, but it includes all the original illustrations, and it's very reasonably priced.
