Should Vera have let the Prof in? Were you worried for her?

I don't think she should have let the Prof in. She should have called Joe and have him come over to her house.

Vera's a tough old bird and there's no way she would hide in her house. I'm sure he could have gotten into the house long before anybody else got there. My money's always on Vera in a fight.

Unless someone had a gun.....

She was as curious about him as he was about the investigation. Fate had delivered him to her doorstep and she certainly was going to take advantage of her good luck. Never in a million years would she have hid from him.

She was always going to let him in, but have been better to have got some back-up. She was too intrigued to know exactly who the Prof was and the story behind it all.

She should have made a quick call to her team for backup before letting him in. If his intention was to get at Vera, there's no way he could have been kept out; he could even have set light to the house from the outside, then we'd never have heard the story...
