Barbara A. Mowat, Shakespeare scholar, co-editor of the Folger Shakespeare Library Editions, former director of research at the Folger Shakespeare Library, and former editor of Shakespeare Quarterly passed away on November 24, 2017. She was 83.
Besides co-editing with Paul Werstine the Folger editions of Shakespeare's works, and publishing numerous scholarly articles, she was the author of The Dramaturgy of Shakespeare's Romances.
