In 2014,
“Russians bought 500,000 baseball bats but purchased only one pair of baseball gloves and one ball, according to Moscow traffic police chief Viktor Kovalenko, who reportedly suggested that the bats were often used to resolve traffic disputes. …He added that car salons have started selling baseball bats.”
LOL. Interesting use of the word “resolve.”
