The book, Orphan Train, by Christina Baker Kline was surprisingly really interesting. Before reading this novel, I will admit I was slightly skeptical, but within the first couple of sections I was proven wrong. While reading this story, I went through all kinds of emotions such as sorrow, frustration, and joy. This story takes the reader into the lives of two women that have dealt with becoming orphans. It did not take long for me to connect with both Molly and Vivian's characters while reading the book. Another thing I really enjoyed about the book, Orphan Train, is that it has both a historical and relevant story line. I highly recommend everyone to read this novel, especially young girls going through hard times with their parents. I believe this book would be a great reflection for them to see how much they rely and need their parents.
