Max Svabinsky

I saw a show in Prague a few years ago of Max Svabinsky. I was astounded that I'd never heard of
him before. Truly a great under-appreciated artist.
His "Poor Country" is great; a simple scene of a young woman sitting on a grassy mound on a sunny day. Realistic with slightly softened edges.
