If you're interested in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy or literature, I am a member of a book group that meets the second and fourth Friday evenings of each month at 7:30pm at St. Mary's Cathedral.
This Friday we will begin three sessions on Virgil's Aeneid.
Other texts we have read in the past few years are: Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Poetics, Philodemus' On Frank Criticism, Lucretius' On the Nature of Things, Plato's Phaedrus, Euripides' Iphigenia in Tauris and many others.
Hope to see you there!
