I need to travel, with minimal internet access, this weekend, so the amount of time we have to identify my word is pretty small. This intrepid gang can do it, though!

If you're driving it would be faster with at least one passenger.

I'm a big fan of carpooling, although it was tough to do when I had to run from work to take kids to soccer.

not carpool,

A small glass vial?

Hmmm... tubule? I've seen it more often in a biological context, but glass vials ciuld be, like, totally tubular.

not carpool, tubule,

#5 My word is often found attached to a hypodermic syringe.

If I knew how to do caligraphy, I'd write both your name and mine with a big fancy J at the beginning.

It's named from the Latin for "rod,"
Which is fitting--unless you're abroad.
For in English this sign
Is a straight, sloping line,
Yet in French it means "comma"--how odd!

I'm afraid I'm feeling totally brain-dead. Rodney, is it a module? Joyce, I'm afraid that "illumination" is escaping me.

However, Buck has taken the honors; Crambo's word was indeed virgule. Assuming that was not the guess that Rodney and Joyce were making, it's all yours!

Good game, Jim. Glad I could free you up in time for your weekend travels.

Assuming Rodney and CJ weren't going for virgule (if you were, don't be bashful), the new game starts here.

#7 was majuscule. I have to admit I'd never heard the word before this game, and I'm just delighted not to have won.

thanks, Rodney and Joyce. I'd heard of an ampoule but for some reason it didn't come to me. Majuscule is totally new to me; can't wait to work it into a conversation!
