Did you love Across The Universe by Beth Revis? Hated it? Seen an interesting article about the book? Felt the book was a victim to superfluous commas? Loved the book, hated the cover?

Loved the book, hated the cover.

Well, liked the book, and was not too enamored with the cover, or the cover blurb. Both of which seemed toimply the book was much further toward the romance side of things than it really is.

I admit that most of the "surprise twists" were fairly obvious in advance. (I mean, even I saw stuff coming). Amy was also a little grating and Elder a bit on the dumb side.

However, that said, I enjoyed the book, and will read the sequel.

Like Scorbet, I enjoyed the book and intend read the sequel. And I was pleased at how the teenage angst was kept to a minimum. It was there, of course, but not to Judy Blume levels *shudder*

For once I didn't see a twist coming - it was only a few pages before the reveal that I realised Elder had done a Dougal and pressed the Big Red Button LOL

It's not a perfect book (they are so rare), but I did enjoy it.
