I have an extensive collection of fiction by writers of African descent. These include African, Caribbean and African American writers. I also have a small collection of books by other writers of color, in particular, of Asian, Hispanic, and Middle Eastern background. There are so many stories from around the world that have yet to be told and I intend to read as many of them as possible.

Sobre mí

I am a soon to be 50 year old African American academic that loves to read. My now deceased mother taught me amd my older sister to love and appreciate books and reading. I fondly recall going to the book mobile every week that it was parked on our neighborhood street during the late 1960's. I have yet to get used to the idea of an electronic book for I love turning the page of a book, going to bookstores and discovering new writers just by browsing.

I love fiction and am currently having a love affair with Nigerian authors, most especially the female writers.
